I was declarer in a contract of 4
which I made, rather surprisingly, by throwing
a sidesuit loser when an opponent ruffed with the master trump. 'L' was watching and said approvingly:
L: good loser on loser play will
will: i wish you wouldn't talk about partner and me like that
K was declarer and had taken a few tricks but could not see how to get the rest. After a long pause he pronounced:
K: we may have to skip this hand I don't have enough discards
In another game, we got spanked and it was because I opened:
will: sorry pd, i was helium ... a little light
