Charming

I was partnering a friend 'B' whose style of bidding was much more aggressive than mine (but usually successful). There came a hand where she'd bid us into yet another alarming contract and where I had to play it. After I saw dummy, this exchange took place:

will: typ       as usual we're in a contract one level higher than we should be

B: will you broke my heart :((((

opponent to will: you'd better send her roses


But after a game or two later when I'd got us a good score:

B: well done will :)))))

will to opponent: she likes IMPs not roses

opponent to will: strange girl

Another time I was at a table where a player and his partner were arguing in a good-natured way about a recent misjudged double.

player: opponents please avert your eyes for a minute while i discipline my partner

will: sure no problem ;-)

player: partner give me your double card, you can have it back after the game

will: lol where are you both from by the way?

player: my partner is from Mars
