Faking

Defending against 'K', an opponent did some clever false-carding but he noticed what she did. After he'd made the contract:

K: were you trying to fake me, Sue?

will: i knew it wouldn't work        K is used to women faking it

Rampant

After a defence where we not only spanked the opponents but did it at high speed, I gloated to a friend at another table via a private message :

will to friend: in that last hand pd and i were what i can only describe as rampant

friend to will: rampant partners make me go weak at the knees

will to friend: lol me too

Grateful

For the second time in the session I tabled a big hand. This one had 16pts and partner was grateful. Her comment:

partner: will, you give good dummy

Hmmm.
